In the first part of this series, you’ve seen how cool Costa Marina Beach Resort looks like and I’m fortunate that I was able to visit the place for the first time (though it is not the best resort in the Island Garden City of Samal). The location was just an add-on to our enjoyment, the main fun were highlighted from our swimming and the games we played during our mini-reunion. We acted as if we were all elementary pupils with nothing in mind but games and fun.

For someone living in a tropical country like me in the Philippines, it seems weird for North Americans or European people to understand that I’ve never been to a beach for over five years. Now, if that surprised them, my local friends are more shocked when they learned that I’ve never been to the Island Garden City of Samal for the 21 years of my life. It’s a popular place in our region for locals and tourists where dozens of beach resorts of varying class and styles are waiting to be explored and celebrated.
On January 4th 2009, I was so lucky that my old high school classmates decided to set the venue of our reunion in Costa Marina Beach Resort. It gave me a chance to discover that there is indeed a paradise nearby my city. This post contains pictures that reveal the morning part of our reunion.

As a year-ender post and before I can start to be productive in 2009, I want to look back the top events and changes of my personal and professional life in 2008.
Reviewing it will give me hint where the direction of my life will point this year and I will be able to find out necessary ways to continue my pursuit of happiness and success for myself, for my family, and for the top people directly connected to me (top 10 of them were listed in my previous post). It has been noted that the year has been pleasant in 2007, let’s find out if this was the case in 2008.
