EstDomains.com is one of Internet’s favorable domain registrars offering myriad of domain name services. For webmasters and hosting companies, it is one of the cheapest and most cost-efficient domain solution providers until lately. However, with their domain privacy protection feature down for almost three weeks now, even their avid customers and resellers are beginning to feel busted as worries increase due to privacy-related issues.

And Just Like That, My 21st Birthday Passed!
Last month’s fourth Sunday (May 25) was a big day for me: I turned 21 years old! Like what people around me said, it was my debut of being an adult. Well literally, since I was in tertiary school and been facing computers everyday I observed slowly that gray hairs start spawning on my head. My classmates have teased me that I am already an adult — in thinking, yes — but I have strongly denied it. This year’s birthday event made it official, however. My online friend Mihaela Lica, told me on chat that my new age will bring “more milk” for me. Whatever she meant, just use your imagination. I just hope because I have milk and I want more. ![]()

The Cost-Effective Way To Increase PC and Laptop Performance
My Neo laptop had breathe for almost a year now and yet, after several component upgrades, my Vista still feels slow especially when I am running productivity software. Is it my system or Window Vista that is keeping me from getting the computing performance that I need? Let’s explore that, shall we.
August last year my employer got me a laptop (Neo 540NVP2i) with the following specifications: 1.6 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 1 GB DDR2 memory (RAM), 80 GB SATA hard drive, a DVD writer drive, an integrated graphics RAM, and Genuine OEM Windows Vista Home Premium operating system.

WordPress 2.5 and Image Upload Problems
Some people say they like the previous version of WordPress blog platform. Well, there are few reasons for me to believe that. I found personally the new WordPress version has few issues with my web hosting environment. Although in my previous blog post I said that the new features of WordPress are neat, the image upload issue I just discovered made me somehow upset. Fortunately, the customer support representatives of my web host, Top Hosting Center, quickly resolved the issues. And guess what? They told me how they did it! Very excellent customer service and transparent indeed.

Go For An iPhone 3G Or Wait For Nokia’s "iPhone Killer"
Last year we saw how Apple rocked the mobile phone industry and the world with its revolutionary iPhone — a mobile device that combined a phone, an iPod and Internet communicator in one. Apple’s iPhone was the first in the world to feature a full HTML capable Safari web browser, a pioneering mobile multi-touch feature that wiped out the typical cellphone keypads, and the best iPod ever.
Sensing the threat from Apple’s pioneering mobile phone product, Nokia, the world’s largest mobile phone manufacturer at the present, announced in the recent months that they are preparing a set of high-end mobile phones aimed to topple the hype caused by iPhone. Nokia fans dub these upcoming phones as "iPhone killers."

BlogRush Brings No Good Traffic Unfortunately
Blow all your whistles and toot all your horns for BlogRush, but I beg to disagree that their web service is able to drive substantial traffic. The teaser on their homepage, which reads “the fastest and easiest way to instantly drive a flood of targeted readers,” is none other than just a highfalutin blurb. I’ve been using it for months and the highest traffic I got from a single post was one – quite a drought.
BlogRush is a cooperative syndication network launched by John Reese. Their web service binds the blogs of their members through their widget which displays five clickable blog post headlines. Each member earns one syndication credit every time the widget is loaded on their respective blogs. It also costs them same value to have their recent blog post title displayed on another member’s blog.

My Workplace After Nine Months Of Home Work
On May 6th, it will be my ninth month working as home-based web developer, web designer, technical support engineer, and system administrator for people from North America and Europe. I was surprised that I was able to last this long without losing much my enthusiasm on my field of work. Perhaps I already loved the people whom I interacted with everyday and they are now significant part of my life, despite the fact that I don’t see their faces often and we are divided by great distance. The Philippines is like 12 hours ahead from America’s Eastern Standard Time (EST) – meaning to say, I am nearly in the opposite side of the earth from the people I worked for.
Today, I reevaluated my workplace to see if things have changed in the course of nine months. I’ve been like a couch potato sitting in my chair all day long and working all the time – yet I was very productive – so no regrets at all. Work alone was not a problem at all since my skills tend to suffice the needs of my employer and I was quite fast adapting the business-work environment they embraced to me.
Last January, I showed my workplace in one of my blog posts. It was revealed there my real office situation at that time. Now, I want to show where I work now. There is not much difference but at least few things improved. I got a new chair, LCD monitor and new sound system – things that helped sustain my energy and zeal throughout the day of work.
