Like it or not, the trend of today’s appliances and gadgets is towards having Internet connectivity. We have seen the rapid transition of many home devices shifting from single purpose, specific appliance to multipurpose harnessing the power of local network connectivity, basic Internet connection and now, the mobile broadband. As technology centers more on Internet, handheld devices acquire new ways to get connected to the global cloud in faster manner. Now, people who owns mobile phones with 3G capabilities such as IPhone 3G, are now capable to get access to high speed broadband anytime, anywhere. And what more, many phones now can even share fast mobile broadband connection to a laptop through a USB modem or dongle.

Taking A Peek At Other Hosting Company
Previously, I wrote about the hosting plans of Top Hosting Center, where I am currently hosted with their Speedy hosting plan. On this post, I’m going to take a peek of another web hosting company, ImHosted.com, and see if people will get the worth of what they will pay with the company’s hosting plans. So, let’s start inspecting their customer service — the foremost criterion anyone should consider before looking at “lovely” hosting plans.

First YouTube Interview With Brad
Just a few weeks ago a guy named Brad from Melbourne, Australia, popped up on my channel’s chat page while I was broadcasting on Justin dot TV. Since then, we got in touch and shared thoughts about blogging, traffic building, computers, and lifestyle differences between our countries. It’s always cool to have some new friends from different cultures and learning from them. Just today, Brad invited me for a YouTube interview I never had yet ever since — so he made a new record for me.

VertrigoServ Causes "Blue Screen Of Death" On Windows Vista
My patience has finally run out with the most hailed, highly professional freeware web server environment package I’ve been using for ages. In lieu with my one year length work at home as webmaster (one many hats I wear), I’ve been suffering the dreaded “blue screen of death” (BSOD) randomly since I first used VertrigoServ on Windows Vista Home Premium. In fact, the BSOD I experienced from using VertrigoServ is the first I’ve ever seen on Windows Vista. And guess what it’s not fun.

365 Days Of Home Computer Work
I still can’t believe that I’ve been home doing computer work everyday for a year now. Imagine: on average, I worked 18 hours a day and seven days a week, sitting in front of my laptop working on websites. I go out only once a month during pay day to buy necessities and to change my mind a little bit. So, if you calculate it, I’ve only went outside (not doing work) for at most 20 days out of 365 days of the year — quite a record for me! I did work, work, and mostly work… very productive for good. To share to you my experience, I find it appropriate if we roll back and recall what happened 365 days ago, so here it is.

Show Subtitles In Vista’s Media Player 11
Like what I promised in the previous post concerning Vista Codec Package, I’m going to show you some nifty features not-enabled-by-default that comes with it to beef up your lame Windows Media Player 11. Unlike Media Player Classic, which comes subtitle loading features in-built with it, Windows Media Player 11’s default subtitle functionality is too limited. It can only load subtitle files placed on same directory as the video file — likewise there’s workaround! On this post I will teach you how to show custom subtitles (i.e., using SRT subtitle file format, among others). This tutorial is effective to other compatible media players installed in your system as well. So here it goes…
